Tri-State Dairy and Ag Expo
More than 470 FFA members from 39 schools in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin participated in today's Tri-State Ag & Dairy Expo! The expo featured dairy judging and dairy products contests. In addition, there were several educational sessions including Iowa State University’s biosecurity trailer, Hoard's Dairyman judging and a grain bin rescue demonstration with the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety.
North Fayette Valley FFA was named the champion dairy judging team. Team members included Brock Soppe, Blake Sparrgrove and Alexis Oakland. Aden Kruse of Beckman Catholic High School was the high-scoring individual of the contest.

My name is Nolan Lyness and I am the District 3 Field Manager for Iowa Corn. I grew up and live in Manchester, Iowa. My passion for agriculture has stemmed from showing livestock in 4-H and FFA. I still remain very involved within the show pig industry and enjoy helping young people learn and develop their livestock projects. In addition, we have started our own herd of show goats. In my free time I enjoy spending time at the lake, attending livestock shows, and enjoying time with my friends and family.
We are excited to welcome Nolan to our board!
