Hi, there!

We hope you are having a great spring! We are preparing for a busy summer at Iowa’s Dairy Center. A few weeks ago, we started welcoming students in third, fourth and fifth grade for Iowa’s Dairy Story. This program is held in partnership with Iowa State University Extension & Outreach and is designed to help youth understand the importance of dairy farming and dairy products. Throughout the day, they learn about dairy nutrition, breeds, history and the digestive system in addition to farm tours and making homemade ice cream. We are excited to have these students at Iowa’s Dairy Center during April and May! We are also busy planning for our annual Breakfast on the Farm. Help us spread the word about this fun event to friends and family!

Best,

Brenna Connelly
Coordinator, Northeast Iowa Dairy & Agriculture Foundation
